FamousToscanini, a classic Italian in the Jordaan since 1985, offers effortless white-table dining with traditional dishes infused with passion and bold twists. The flavors, especially in their vibrant vegetables, evoke the authentic taste of Italy, transporting you straight to the Tuscan countryside. Tucked behind unassuming wooden doors, it’s easy to miss, but its intimate, lively atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a long, leisurely lunch - but be cautious because lunch is from 12:00 - 14:00. Café Restaurant Amsterdam

Perfect for lunch or dinner with family, friends, or even kids, its spacious interior offers a lively, buzzing vibe with beautiful natural lighting. The menu is classically French with plenty of options on a paper menu serving the dinner menu during lunch and an additional lunch menu even indulging in French toast (sandwiches) and tasty snacks - something for everyone. Oh, and don’t miss their divine Fruits de Mer – an absolute treat! Great place for big groups and daytime birthday’s.

The red-and-white accents outside give off a charming and inviting vibe, while the candlelit tables and crisp white tablecloths inside create a warm, elegant atmosphere. Their menu features a delightful daily 3- or 4-course selection, complemented by a few special dishes – perfect to pair with a glass (or bottle) of wine. A lively place with room for a lot of Parlotte (chatter).

Located in the iconic Machinegebouw in Westerpark, its authentic and raw ambiance perfectly complements the French-inspired menu. The food and wine pairings are a delight, with every bite and sip sparking a little happy dance. Their petit menu is thoughtfully curated and delivers on every front – highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back soon.
